That stuff can be hell at times. I was with Dennis Taylor at Bakersfield and The late Bob Brooks of Brooks Rod was lining up Dennis when he stepped out of one shoe when he tried to pick up that shoe he lost the other one. then he tried to pick up the second shoe he pulled off one shock then the second came off. I am sorry I had to laugh.

We painted the tires. when VHT first went into business Lions was the testing track for the product and got all we wanted. I also knew the owner at the time and I got all the VHT product I needed for my car. they made great products other than traction compound. the VHT company was about 15 miles from Lions at the time.

To add a comment about VHT used at Lions. We would thin the VHT with alcohol and to respray the oil down clean up areas or for spotting a area my back up starter would spray the areas then step aside and I would hit it with a torch Woof alcohol gone, LETS RACE today OSHA would S#&t. at night it was cool to watch the flamesHarry
