Short TF fields.

when nhra started painting the track around the starting line and various other places; i thought the powerade years
had the nicest aesthetic. camping world had similar appearance.

TJ Jr. ran that john deere TF'r at topeka? for one race way back in 90's i think?
did he do that to try to attract JD? can't remember it ever surfacing again.

When I was at the second event at Trails someone I was talking to asked me do you know why everything is green ?? I said no, they said the green has to do with his days with Kawasaki, without them he wouldn't be where he is today.

What was his role at Kawasaki?

Note to Darryl- All your tracks have the same green and black colors. Even if that's your primary corporate colors, there is nothing wrong with keeping the font and style but switching up the colors, ie each version of Darana Raceway has it's own color scheme.

As I type this I'm wearing a brown John Deere cap. Nobody is confused about exactly what John Deere's main colors are.
That green is not video or television friendly! It is so neon and glowing, it detracts from my ability to focus on the cars! Mute the colors down, man! Terrible decision in that department. All good otherwise.

Keep on rocking!

This might be the last full top fuel field of the year. Steve Torrence announced tonight that this weekend is his final race of the year. Right now Vegas has 11 cars and Pomona has 12 (Ida is the difference, she's entered at Pomona). Just 1 year ago, both these races had 19 and 18 cars respectively.

Well since Pomona entries don't close for 5 weeks it's a little premature.
We will be there trying some new equipment to step up our program.
I think Scott said that he will be running Pomona.

Last night on Between the Slicks, Jasmine said Ennis was her last race. She also said she would like to keep the ET and speed records in IHRA and was waiting for their leave locations for next year. That’s a great show, Lee and Dujanne ask the best questions.

I'll bet a mortgage payment, if he wins in Texas, it wont be his last race of the year!

Hey Mike, please clarify what you mean by odd comments. I took it as she is interested in running, just need to know locations. Glad Lee and Dujanne ask the question. Thanks!

what i mean is why is she making statements about running ihra? i thought she was looking for sponsor money to rejoin the nhra tour?
mike came in and ran nhra full time around 2017-18 i think. part time before that. it seemed to me that the salinas racing operation was focused
on the nhra? i really don't care where they run, but it seems like mike was always focused on being the best, and beating the best, and that is the nhra.

In all fairness, until this year, IHRA wasn't an option for fuel racers.

Salinas called the IHRA race she attended a test session. I took her comments as her primary focus is NHRA but she would run IHRA if it didn’t conflict with NHRA.

2026 gonna be exciting, especially if there is a points fund.Hope Steele AL is one of the locations.
