IMO the guys funding their own teams, come in and have a blast. Then after several years they see the decline in their bank accounts and decide hey I can have a lot more fun for way less money. Look at how many have come and gone over the years. Too much time away from family etc.
For Jasmine I would say IHRA is going to be doable as compared to NHRA. Torrence's I think have become bored with Nitro, still running the other class. Times change life changes, I am sure Steve rather be home with family than gone 4 days a week.
We shall see who comes out next year to play.

Absolutely, I can see a 10 race or less schedule, same money to win, more in lower rounds, less hassle, 2 sessions on Friday, hopefully 3 wins on Saturday. 50000 is 50000 and your still racing. Now imagine if there's a points fund.
Things do change.

I do wonder how long the payout structure in the IHRA will last? Watched the Ohio race on Youtube and if the stands were 1/3 rd full that would be a generous estimate. Also, would any sponsor really put themselves on a car to race in front of no one and with very limited TV exposure?

They would pay him to create positive content for IHRA and negative content for NHRA. This is something that does exist in the social media. I’m not saying it is right or wrong but it can and does exist.
This is exactly true with that clown "Clickbait Jack". IHRA paying him for his content. He'll be posting more garbage this weekend. Count on it.
