I don't understand what a drivers weight has to do with steering.
Ashley F. -Angelle - Beckman - Capps - Erica - Clay - JR Todd - Antron - to name just a few, all small stature folks that do pretty well, imo.

Because a bigger, heavier driver has more muscle mass.

Great job by Wayne and Urs, I looked at it right after the run,it was very plain that the teeth on the idle gear failed on the gear drive.
Wayne said the gear drive had 13 runs on it.
No body needs to beat up on Wayne,He's been kickin' his own ass enough,all he could think about was Darrell Russells' death,and how that could have happened to Urs. It did not help having Julie Russell in his pit area when they pulled in.

it wasnt a broken idle gear it was a broken valve, Urs himself even said so.

On topic: That was a big boomer, almost launched the whole block onto the track, you cant tune around unseen mechanical failure, good job by Urs to keep the car in the facility.

EXACTLY! there was nothing either of them could do to control a spontaneous mechanical failure that sometimes just happens in Nitro racing.

So THAT'S the belt I always see coming off.. The power steeting belt.....makes enough sense to me.
