When watching the show, remember it is a show and not a documentary. Many facts are fudged to get the "WOW" factor into the script. I think both sides benefitted from the association.
As for the $100k figure those guys tossed out, I'm willing to bet about half the Fuel cars out there are running for less than that!
Tim! Hi there! Long time no talk!We were at the Dallas race on Saturday and saw all the camera crews following Richard around filming, but we couldn't get anywhere near for a pic or an autograph that my 15 year old son wanted. GMG was parked right across from Jack Beckman's team and after Q3 we went over to Beckman's pit (I'm a former student of Jack from the drag racing school) and Jack let my 15 year old pack his parachutes with him...Jack did one and my son did the other! Well wouldn't you know it as soon as my son finished his chute, I look up and Richard Rawlings came out from their pit and gave my son a high five! Completely caught my son off guard! Priceless moment...packing chutes on a nitro funny car and the surprise high five from Richard!
First off. Mr. James who's wife drives a car under the Kalitta umbrella. Isn't a fan of Assmonkey so I doubt out of respect Connie wouldn't go for it.
I could see it happening with a lesser funded team.
Anyone notice the Kalitta "Flying K" on the magnetos.
