Re: BP/Castrol

Don't know if BP is finished but you can be sure many of us in the gulf coast region are or will be shortly.

Our entire economy is tied to the waters in some fashion or another.

Me? I sell real estate.

Anyone want to buy some waterfront property with a real "slick" view and the aroma of an oil refinery?

How about a home or land formerly owned by someone in the seafood/tourism/resturant industry?

Fresh seafood? Beach fun? Deep sea fishing? Island tours?

Might be the casinos are all we'll have left.

If it quit pouring oil tomorrow, this isn't going to be "over" for a v-e-r-y long time.

Re: BP/Castrol

Well, some 'eggheads' (or 'head') don' thin' so.:cool:

They spend their time naysaying and being obtuse :)

Yeah, BP, despite a stock increase today, is finished.

We have an "Exxon Valdez" every eight days now (WACKO??????)

I digress.

30 days from now.........we will see............

REX

BP is not trading like "is finished".

The stock would've been shorted to below $10.00 a share by now and major institutions would have bailed out by being forced to sell to stop losses to their big fish clients...(the kind of Money you or me will never see in our life times) also, BP Options don't even come close to reflecting a BK.

If anything... "Short's" will "Buy to cover" and BP at some point will be a freakin screaming "Buy".

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of their Market Cap losses are now hedged and are paying off huge and will off set the eventual clean up cost's.
Not saying it's right or ethical.....but they have some major big league protection for the "down side"

When people are "Crying"......I start "buying".....never failed me yet.
