How funny, I just got the new Hot Rod from my mailbox 10 minutes ago, lol. Look forward to reading the article. I met the Gordons at Indy when we ran my car, they stayed at the same hotel. Very nice family.

I'm hopeful for early '27. I base it in Indy, so my goal is to be ready when the weather breaks.

the entire place was routing for her. was sitting on top end as they went by. not a whole lot of cheering.
that is not a comment against the great kalitta team and DK, it's just maddi's world right now and EVERYBODY is pulling for her.
did not partake of victory cirlce celebration. would have if maddi would have won.

Watched the winners circle on .TV. When Doug climbed up on the platform Jason Galvin asked him (paraphrasing) what's it like to be the most hated man on the planet right now? Doug laughed and complimented Maddi.

if i recall correctly there were several teams one specifically that was self funded that were critical of AJ and the initial lack of results immediately following the Kalitta move , i wonder if there perspective is different today. Hard to argue with the results looking back now.

That's funny....Doug strikes me as having a dry wit.

We were at Bristol in 2019 when Force faced Tasca in the finals, and Force was going for win 150. Tasca beat him, and it was probably the quietest I've ever experienced at a race, LOL. The only noise seemed to be from the few Tasca fans and their crew down on the starting line.

Hopefully when it's time to test next spring, TJ will be available to shake it down and help me with my licensing process. Are you going to Indy next week?
