She simply has to be rookie of the year. She has gone to two finals and won one of them, against Doug, of all people. Doug got his revenge in Brainerd, but how about that girl. Rob Flynn and that team didn't make any mistakes. She simply got out run in the final. How do you beat Doug and Alan? You can't.

Maddi beat Antron in her first final. She did beat Doug at the Norwalk special race three weeks ago.

I was actually thinking about this prior to yesterday’s race. Rob seemed to gotten the perfect job/opportunity going to RCR. Not a rush or stress to “fix” what hasn’t been working; but an opportunity to kind of start fresh, see what Maddi can do/handle and continue to “up the ante” as the races/season progresses. Him & Guido seem to be pretty easy going guy’s, albeit smart & talented at their positions & feed off of Maddi’s energy, knowing that when it’s time; it’s 100% “go time”! I also think that Maddi is an excellent driver and has sped up the learning curve more than Ron, had anticipated with his initial reason for hiring Maddi to drive. It has definitely been fun to watch!

And just think, last year Rob was tuning Tony Schumacher's car at RWR which is not exactly setting the world on fire in 2026.
