I sure hope this new chassis makes Doug more competitive this year. He certainly deserves to have a championship caliber car again (something he hasn't had for awhile).
I'm all for safety, 100%. I will say that I really hate the canopy look. It completely takes away the view of the driver and I believe to be able to see the driver adds to the excitement of the racing. Just my 2 cents.

I thought of that......that's why I love when they raise the body....camera goes in and shows your the living breathing human being in there giving a thumbs up or what have you.....pro stock, little different but they do manage to get the camera in there and show the driver giving a thumbs up or whatever.

I think that NHRA counts the "mud flaps" as part of the overall size of the wing, so I guess most teams leave them there. As heavy as the T/F cars are these days, wish someone would come up w/ a streamliner again.
