I think John Force has done as much for the sport as anyone.
From giving parts to other drivers, so they could make another round to being super friendly to fans.
My story...at Applebee's after Saturday qualifying in Topeka about 7 years ago...he's there by himself waiting for a table like everyone else, see's two dad's with their sons (me, my friend and our boys), knows we are drag racing fans, comes over and talks to us like pals. Then he see's Snake inside the restaurant eating, and starts yelling "Hey everyone, the Legend Don the Snake the Prudhomme is in the building"...
