Force was in the starting line when his cars ran in Q1. He was walking around without assistance and waved to the crowd.

They put out a video of him signing autographs and visiting with the team. He is walking kind of slow and the nitro seemed to bother his eyes at the starting line but looks real good.

John was in his pit signing autographs when I went past his pits today between sessions. It was good to see him back at the track supporting his teams .

Yeah he sounded good. Biggest takeaway for me is that he “will be a spectator for a while”.

Was also interesting when they interviewed Courtney and asked if she was offered John’s Peak ride and she declined to answer!

John's interview with Alan was very interesting. John confirmed he had a new 4 year contract with PEAK for his car and a new contract with Cornwell Tools for Prock and all was good. It was interesting that Height was not mentioned and he said Prock in the Cornwell car. Alan did a excellent interview with him and let John say what he wanted and didn't really question him on anything except his health. John did not say whether he would be driving again or not.

speaking of interviews, dale jrs. social media just re-released this priceless interview with john from 2019.
listened to the whole thing again ....... hopefully someday john will again sit down with someone and share his candid thoughts.
