I was thinking that the other day and I could very well be out of line on this, but all three of them just showed up with their helmets, but never took any interest in running the family business? Especially with all this female empowerment stuff. Why not be the next Claire Williams? Maybe they have a deeper roll in the family business, but we just don't know it. From someone I talked to the other day, it doesn't sound like they do. To be fair, they're not the only ones who have taken that route as well.

I agree with Larry, if he says he's close to the family I'm taking him at his word. Ashley also runs the entertainment side, they have a state of the art audio and visual studio complex in the Yorba Linda museum. No idea what Courtney does but I bet she is also involved along with Adria and now Brittany. They all have office's there are they just for show? The 3 daughters of John and Laurie grew up at the track and they all became full time racers, now I would think they are going to continue the family business which obviously is very profitable. John will be the CEO as long as he wants. Tony your opinion is worth something too because your a insider which most of us here are not. I'm going to shut up and sit back and watch.

Working at the business and being home is a lot different than traveling 7 days a week chasing money and trying to drive too.
I respect your opinion and you have been at this forever and have more knowledge than most here. However based on life experiences very few businesses continue after Dad passes it on.
JFR is John and I do not see anyone filling his shoes or the kids putting the work to continue it when he is gone. Also sponsors are there because of John I can see them bailing if he goes. I hope I am wrong but I have to look at it from experience.

Unless I misunderstood one of interviews (possibly during the announcement) interview it was stated that Britney was going to be overseeing part of the operation, that she wasn't just walking away...something about having some level of ownership.

While I agree with you on this statement, it's not attracting new, younger fans either. They are what's needed to attract new sponsors into Drag Racing.
