You are just a little off on that caffeine content, about twenty times too high.
3000 mg of caffeine would land you in the E.R.
Caffeine in Full Throttle

Possibly But 144 mg of Caffeine is still 4 times the amount of Coke and the 3000 mg came from the Full Throttle web page as the amount of "Full Throttle Blend" which is a mixture of Stimulants.
And for the record I do have a Emergency Medical Degree and have seen plenty of people with PVCs, Tachycardia and Shortness of Breath from these quote "Energy Drinks":)

I do agree with you that these drinks are bad news. I am amazed every time is see people in the gym drinking them. Something that dehydrates the body and raises blood pressure is the last thing you need when working out. Not trying to get personal, but I must say I am surprised that some with a emergency medical degree or a EMT could be lead to believe that a single 16 oz drink would have 3000mg of caffeine.

Is there any d*mn thing both made in this country and owned by Americans, or have we sold out everything overseas????

No and Yes, now go to Wal mart and buy some more Chinese made crap that helped extinct US manufacturing. If you want to buy American buy a Honda/Toyota/BMW at least they're made in the states by Americans and not in Canada/Mexico/China/Vietnam etc...

Boy we drifted off topic but ... I too am amazed at the consumption of these things. My 11 year old son is 1/4 of the way to earning his Blackbelt in Kempo Karate. We attend 4 tournaments a year around the Northeast US and my Wife and I get so angry when we see pre-teens and teens under 18 chugging these things down like they are a magic potion. I've actually seen parents at these events that have Monster, Red Bull or Full Throttle packed in a cooler for the kids to have. I have heard teens tell thier parents "go get me a Red Bull" and the parents do it. As far as I am concerned, these parents have thier heads screwed on backwards and when one of thier kids goes down with a heart condition or seizure they will naturally blame the drink company and take no responsibility themselves.

I'm not perfect. As they say "after futher research";)

Yea whatever happened to good old water or a Gatorade. I personally think all those energy drinks taste bad unless you put some alcohol with them.

Had a customer come in the shop one day and picked up a part with "Made in Taiwan" sticker on it. He said the next time somebody came in bit*ching about hight fuel prices, show them this. Americans wanted cheap goods and now we got them--and also boosted the overseas economies. We sell Chevy restoration parts and almost all of them are made overseas. About all we sell that is US made is interiors and some weatherstrips. None of the moldings, sheet metal, or chrome parts are made here--all are made in Taiwan. We sell a new Chevelle bumper for less than $200, and the local bumper rechromer want $350 to chrome a used bumper. Most all of the American muscle cars running around today have more parts made in Taiwan than in the USA.

Re: Bernstein Budweiser Part Ways

I applaud Budweiser for supporting drag racing for 30 years and funding a first rate nitro team! Love or hate KB and his business history, I really liked his early 80's Bud King funny cars! Now KB has time to pull off a Shiner Bock deal!?!:)
