How Much is NitroMater Worth?

I think our administrator Shannon did a fine job with our new and improved website.
But now we have the necessary annoying ads unless we pay money?!
I switched to a browser that blocked the ads. Then I started feeling guilty when I realized I'm spending $465 a year for Nhra.tv, Youtube, Netflix and Patreon.
But I've been here on the only dedicated drag racing site that I know of for over six years for free!

I am now subscribed to NitroMater for $100. If you don't know that's forever, not just for one year! You can also just pay $10 every year, but if you live more then 10 years you got screwed! Just kidding Shannon.

It is not about the ads or the money, it's about supporting this great community of like minded individuals.

I completely understand the mixed feelings about ads. Trust me, if I could run Nitromater completely ad-free without worrying about the costs, I would do it in a heartbeat. So if you care to share with an old guy like me who is non computer literate what does it (ballpark) cost to keep something like this going?? I am a member at several smaller forums that are run by individuals and I honestly do not know if it $50 a month or $5k a month to do something like this.

And I know I do appreciate what you are doing here with the format and membership as some of the other race sites are a pretty rough crowd. I stopped posting on one 100% and the other occasionally visit now. I know grow some thicker skin but honestly at this point of life I just walk away from the BS I have better ways and places to waste time.

The other thing is based on perceived members age here the 10 year break even is a true concern nothing to laugh about. You might be looking at a 50% drop in memberships in 10 years...................
