Last week I was on vacation, stayed off tweeter and this site till Thursday so I could watch the DVR recording, both NHRA and NASCAR rained out! Looks like someone invent a DVR that would tape the event regardless of time, I’ve taped more soccer, horse racing , blackjack, county bat mitten quarter final shows than I have NHRA events! Not home now, DVR set to tape FS2 1 o’clock central... NHRA is the red headed step child of sports, I swear Fox would pre empty an event to show a neighborhood elementary marble contest!!!!

Seeing all the victorious ballplayers spray each other with gallons of champagne while I'm waiting for Nitro qualifying pi$$ed me off, but not as much as knowing that Dan Gurney, All American Racer, started that tradition and everyone else stole it from auto racing.

And seeing those p-word ballplayers all wearing goggles made it even worse....
