I see that Gene is on the entry list for Pomona, when did he get his license?

I met Gene about 10 yrs. ago when I was living in Scottsdale. He had an A/Fueler at the time. I was at Firebird one time when the motor kaboomed while they turned it over behind the starting line. He always seemed like a nice guy. Anyone know whose car he's in, maybe his own?
