Sometimes I wonder if the popularity of wrestling, reality shows, and NASCAR points out that a lot of the public no longer has the ability to see a difference between real personalities and those that are created for entertainment value.

i enjoyed it, it seems people can say anything about team force, supposedly throwing races, drama ect ect ect ect ect or any other team for that matter EXCEPT team $humacher, just because don comes on here it seems that team gets a pass on thier own drama or any negativity what so ever, s o i think it was cool nothing better than a rivalry. we need more rivalries in our sport its fun to watch.

I'm all for outspoken drivers and not the typical PC bs that normally gets shoved down our throat. And lord knows I'm not a WJ fan at all but his persona is "all business" I just think he should be a little more fan friendly persay but I understand it. As for Whit, he came off as a crybaby whiner and thats why 9 out of 10 people cant stand him. I've talked to Whit several times and he's always been nice and gracious but there's something about him and a tv camera that turns a switch on in him. And I know alot of people dont like Hot Rod, but Rod is a very nice guy and means well. I know the alcohol people cant stand him but thats ok, b/c what he said was true. I pull for Hot Rod, I hope he wins the championship. He deserves it after last year. Not everyone can be John Force, Gary Scelzi, Clay Millican, etc in front of the camera's and we should all know that.

Hell, if winning and kicking the living hell out of the TF competition for the last 4+ year’s means Tony is the dark side, so be it and sign me up. DSR is the mater suck up fest, and you cant argue that! like i said just because don posts on here, there is NEVER any negativity on here about that team, angelles bike comes up light, nothing said on here, the army dragster ignores the shut off sign, nothing negative on here, the army dragster drives by the weight slace, nothing negative on here, nitrogate, where the rules say no unappreoved nitro on the grounds and its in dons trailer which is on the grounds, and the maters go nuts and say NHRA is wrong. ect ect ect ect but ashley force wins her 1st race and makes history for women in our sport and the DSR fans/force haters say john threw the race. post with your braqin not your heart joel.

No offense, but where in the hell have you been? Angelle has gotten bashed a ton on here. There's still a few people on here whining and crying nearly 2 years later over the Schumacher starting line incident. People said all sorts of crap about Schumacher not going over the scale.

And who says the nitro was unapproved, you? According to Don the NHRA told him that his fuel was now an authorized supplier, making it legal.

You really need to pay a hell of a lot more attention before you say there's been no criticism because it's about as far from the truth as possible.

Just because I posted the facts doesn't mean I'm kissing his butt. It seems to me like you can't get enough of the Schumacher bashing. You said there's never any negativity towards his teams, that's flat out wrong and I called you on it, now you say I'm kissing his @ss. Maybe you should start your own club and call it the "I Hate Don Schumacher Racing and Everybody Associated With Them Club" then you can bash them any time you feel like it. Maybe that'll make your little e-penis seem bigger.

I agree, Don's teams have taken a beating on here from time to time so I am real unclear why Jeff thinks DSR is given a freebie here. Jeff, not everyone on here bashes JFR and the same can be said about DSR. I don't think your comments about DSR not being criticized are warranted based on the actual posts on this board, it goes both ways for all teams.

The best thing DSR can do to draw your ire is dominate and win championships. I don't pull against JFR because they're bad folks. Come on!!! The Force's are great folks. I pull against JFR because I want someone to beat them, and they have FORD stickers on the front And that my friends is just one of the spokes in the wheel that makes Funny Car the greatest division/class in all of motorsports!!!!

Let someone starting winning all the time then you'll find out how much you like'em or dislike them as a fan.

paul , i know we are all very passonite about our sport and favorite teams, we all have our own opinions, but ashley winning her 1st event and histroy at that and how many people actually said john threw the race, now thats sad, jfr is bashed 10 to 1 compared to dsr but whatever , we all have favorites but i want to thank you for posting with class, and a level head, it seems brent pops off like a tough guy and tries to embarrase me. agaon paul thanks for the level headedness. jeff.

I was 10 years old when Kerry Von Erich beat Ric Flair for the NWA Heavyweight Championship in Texas Stadium in front of a ridiculous amount of fans. From the time I was 9 until about 13 wrasslin' was my life. I watched all sanctions, subscribed to PWI and since I lived in Louisville, KY, we were under the Mid South sanction ... got to see hulk Hogan managed by the Mouth of the South before Hogan went to the WWF ... got to see The King Jerry Lawler wrassle Andy Kaufman in the Louisville Gardens for the Mid South and Inter-Gender title unification match. Saw the Freebirds wrassle the Fabulous Ones in a steel cage for the Mid South tag team titles. Got to see Jerry Lawler FINALLY win the AWA Championship from Kurt Henning, before both bolted to WWF. To this day when I hear the song "Obsession" I swear Saturday Night's Main Event is coming on. I was ate up with it ... drove my parents NUTS. Then 2 things happened when I turned 13 ... I was tall enough to dunk a basketball so my game got stepped up several levels ... and I realized girls were pretty cool ... much better to spend time with them than sittin in front of a TV watchin' wrasslin'!!!!

Another thread derailed ... gotta feelin' this ones goin' WAY off the tracks ...

I am startled by the number of people that say they have gotten threatening/angry/hateful PMs on the Mater. I have never gotten ONE. Why can't I have haters too? I am a sarcastic/sardonic/cynical individual ... that has to p!ss someone off right?
