spot on!!! Knoll wanted to play with the big hitters and just couldnt hang.Ya,there are some teams that seemed to pull thru this mess, but now lets talk about those who didnt.Im sure Mr Foley has a different opinion of this ordeal.

Timmah,
I really respect your opinion but I did read what you wrote and I have confidence in my reading comprehension.

Even if the cashiers check was a good one, I, in good faith, could not accept the money knowing the past history and how many people got the screws put to them. Yeah, a few may have "landed on their feet" but there are many others out there that haven't...employees, vendors, taxpayers, etc. I think in an earlier thread, one of his former employees is stuck with a huge AMEX bill.

.."Some times people bite off more than they can chew in life, especially in our sport. How many Bankrupsy's, forclosures, wage garnishments, Divorces, and other finantial and personal losses have occured because of peoples "NEED FOR SPEED"? So, because I would give someone a 2nd chance in life, does that make me "Shallow" in your opinion"..

It doesn't make you shallow it shows you have compassion for your fellow racer but if you would be willing to risk everything you have for this sport then a reality check is in need.

Cheryl & Bill, you guys are dead on!
There are a lot of us out here who have been hit HARD by his disregard for the law. The pro teams mentioned, are solid talent and they will find funding. And even most employees and vendors, if they have the tallent they to will bounce back, but its just not right. This joker dosent even deserve the time I spend typing this post. Just airing some frustration. Our sport and country are in some hard financial times. But I am confident both will be back stronger then ever!

Tim,

With all due respect, you obviously haven't followed what actually happened here with Mr. Knoll. He committed fraud and now the federal government is now involved, spending our tax dollars to find him and likely prosecute him.

His actions cost EVERYONE money. Our money, which if you haven't noticed is in short supply right now. His ego got in his way and his Viper wreck was 4 years ago. That is a smoke screen. He is bad and his actions were calculated. He doesn't give a rat's ass about you or anyone else.

Would you take a check from Gene Snow too?

Torco International Corporation (Torco Oil) has always owned the trademark on Torco, they are headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, California and the new Torco Race Fuels is headquartered in Phoenix, AZ.

Neither have anything to do with Evan Knoll.

I'm well aware of that.

The point was. Isn't Bolt LLC a spin off of Torco Race Fuels(formally owned by Evan Knoll). Wasn't Torco Oil was suing Torco Race Fuels at some point?

I was talking to one of the pro mod crew guys at G-ville and he said that Evan was given 300 million by uncle Sam to develop alternative fuels and used it to fund the race cars. Let's just say he's far, far away somewheres.

Yes, according to Torco International, they were suing the OLD Torco Race Fuels (Knoll) to stop them from using the trademark "Torco" after Knoll had agreed to stop using the trademark, then began re-using it.

Remember the brief change to "eRacing Fuels"?
