Just a "heads up": Looks like Friday coverage will start at 5:45EDT

YMMV of course.:)

ok espn you can update us anytime, god for bid we get extra coverge. NHRA needs to fire espn

There's a reason I said, "YMMV".

I couldn't imagine they'd be running Q-1 but, hope springs eternal.

This wasn't an ESPN scheduling issue. The broadcast show is run during round 2 of the pro qualifying. If the race schedule is running late then the broadcast will be late. It's not liked they delayed a recorded qualifying session for high school softball or something.

Please stand by, we dont know how to program, thx lol
ESPN3 has always shown Q2 on Friday. The posted NHRA schedule showed Pro Q2 beginning at 3:45 LOCAL time. Add 3 hours and that's 6:45. Oh by the way, with some normal issues the second session was delayed. First pair of PSB started at 4:09 LOCAL time.

This had nothing to do with ESPN, but as usual Jeremy you will get up on your pedestal and complain. The ESPN3 coverage is a bonus given to us. Please explain why you feel you need an updated race / TV schedule. Want to stay informed, listen to the audiocast from the track or GO to the race. We do not deserve any special consideration when it comes to NHRA's or ESPN's schedules if we are not at the event.

ESPN / ABC is a multi billion $$ empire. They will survive whether Jeremy Weaver approves of their scheduling or not.

What I was saying was it said 5:45,thinking hmm maybe some early coverage,i was stupid and hurried up and got home to wait because it should have said 6:45 not 5:45. If your going to do something then do it right,at least once, not a mistake almost every time its on.

Incorrect. If ESPN knew the NHRA schedule had session 2 start at 6:45, they should not have started ESPN3 at 5:45 and had an hour of "Please Stand By Your Event Is About To Begin." This had everything to do with ESPN.

There was no need to stay tuned to audiocast etc for an updated schedule, ESPN just flat started 1 hour before it was supposed to. And with NO bonus coverage, just the Stand By screen.
