It debuts tonight - that's all I know. I am on the phone as I type with their customer service to order it:cool: It's been a long wait, I can't believe it's finally happening.

You're gonna love it!!!!! Picture and sound get better with every race.
Could clearly hear P/S chutes "pop" today and night shots of TF were just spectacular. Enjoy! -

Guess I better check with Brighthouse Networks here in Orlando as they are our primary cable provider and they had not been too receptive to our requests for ESPN2-HD awhile back. Maybe enough requests piled up by now. Glad to hear it is available just down the road in the Tampa area.

It's funny how the same cable company in different towns offer different things. A friend who has Adelphia can get ESPN2 in HD, my parents in a different town can not get it. You would think it would be easier to offer the same things just about everywhere, except maybe some specialty stations. In Mass a former cable company in my home town had a Spanish channel on Ch 27. In the city I went to school in Ch 27 was a French Canadian station due to the large population their. Actually worked out pretty well as they would show Hockey games we could not get. Sure they were in French, but you still got to see the action.

It's unbelievable. I've had an HDTV for nearly 4 years, and for 2 of those years I've been waiting for ESPN2HD to show up so I can watch the races in a format that they deserve to be in. WOW! The picture is unreal!!!

Speaking of WOW , thats the name of our cable co. They cover OH. Ind. Mich. Illinois. Anyhow, after many calls to them , they still refuse to offer ESPN2HD. Any other members here with WOW cable, call them couple times a month like I do. Maybe if enough subscribers call in, we can get ESPN2HD added before Indy.

There's one solution if your company doesn't have ESPN2 HD, try Dish Network. I had Comcast and the HD was very choppy at times so I made the switch last week and I have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the HD picture compared to Comcast. Last night we had severe storms and the picture never lost its quality.
