Truly a tragic loss to the sport of Drag Racing. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Medlen family and the John Force Racing family. I had high hopes and expectations of him pulling through an returning to win a championship if not several championships.

GOD SPEED Eric. Another GREAT RACER gone to HEAVEN to do long smokey burnouts on the streets of Gold..

I had to check several sites after seeing this thread here; I was sure it had to be a mistake; I don't feel much like going to the drag strip this weekend. We'll be praying for Eric's family and the folks at JFR. I'm going to get a drink now.
