Dunn Not Returning to NHRA Broadcast in 2016

The decision is not Fox. It is NHRA. NHRA is taking over production in 2016 including talent. The deal with Fox is broadcast, not production. Can anyone name a warm body to fill Mike's shoes? I cannot come up with one name. This move has aggravated a LOT of people who were already aggravated with the so called management of NHRA. I cannot wait for Marty "staaaaaaaay with us" Reid. I hope there is live online coverage I can mute and watch. I will not listen to unqualified jerks. DO YOU HEAR US COCA COLA? WE ARE MAD!

Been replaced by two hot blondes in short skirts, to appeal to the demographic, although they know jack of what they are talking about...

It IS Fox, after all... ;)

. . . Can anyone name a warm body to fill Mike's shoes?

Fill Mike's shoes? Not necessarily right out of the chute, but I can think of others who (I believe) could do a great job. Reality is, though, that most are already involved with the sport in positions that probably preclude switching to announcing for FS. Some that come to mind: Alan Reinhart, Jeff Arend, Jim or Jon Oberhofer, Clay Millican, Whit Bazemore,...

We're disappointed but let's hope for the best and give whoever is selected a chance to succeed.

Don't start flaming..........................................................................................................Bazemore?

Don't like this at all. Always enjoyed his insight and enthusiasm during each show, will miss him. NHRA and FOX sports have very large shoes to fill.

I have a strong feeling that Bruno Massel Is strong pick, great on TV and knows Drag Racing

I've always been a big Dunn fan, but there are way more licenses than available seats out there. And there seems to be a steady crop of younger drivers getting their fuel licenses, which is a good thing.

Hate to say it but I might have predicted this in the Gary Gerold thread. Mike knows more off the top of his head and can articulate it faster than 99% of anyone else out there who might be available.
