They were all high on acid and some people just can't carry a tune but I'll always look forward to meeting "The Yankster" despite having opinions that are pretty much 180 degrees off. Wouldn't you say we've survived on opposite sides of the conversation more than once, Yankster?

I agree with many of you who have compared some of the disagreements on this board to what we see each and every day - on the news, on all these reality shows, in the race for the highest office on the planet, in congress, etc. Simply put, we, as a society, have lost the ability to debate respectfully. I, for one, will try to do my part (both in life and on this board) to rectify that...

The Mater has been unreadable the last 2 weeks. The derisiveness and divisiveness of the board has been staggering to witness and has not done anyone any good. Everyone just needs to back away from the keyboard and chill for a bit.
