This bites. Add a couple more t-shirts to the obsolete section of my wardrobe. Oh, well, it's the nature of the beast , right?
Some insight into the departure of Brut:
Brut was a brand of the Fabrege folks and wasbought by Mcgregor- I guess the sports gear Mcgregor. remember Namath and others being shaved by hot chicks?
Anyway Unilever has owned the brand and in Jan 2007 sold the Fabrege brand line to a CAYMAN ISLANDS company now called Fabrege LTD.
By the end of '07 Unilever will remove all Fabrege productsfrom its line.
I'll speculate that this could be the reason for the sponsor drop and nothing to do with marketing the prduct to the drag race fan demographic group.
Found this on wickpedia.
Brut didn't make a fragrance for women.
Well this is a bummer. With all the outside ads they did with the magazines and such and all the pics Joe was able to take

Brut hasn't been owned by Faberge in quite some time. They were owned by Helen of TroySome insight into the departure of Brut:

What is the NHRA doing to help keep these companies?
"While the NHRA sponsorship provided new visibility to BRUT, it is still, in the context of sports marketing sponsorships, a comparatively small brand."
POW right in the kisser!!!!!
On that note, I can't believe that a release with that wording in it was made public.it looks bad for potential sponsors if they were to read that.
IMO
Actually, the Brut Revolution smells pretty darn good! And it got the stamp of approval from my 13 year old. Hey, he's happy with a $14.99 cologne instead of $40 or $50 stuff from Hollister or Abercrombie. Mom's gotta like that!It was cool to see BRUT involved in the NHRA but....that cologne is nasty/cheap and far from todays popular list of smell good products for men over 35 years of age...kind of like 'old spice'...
