Several times now the young Bob Bode has tuned and driven his family's funny car to impressive finishes against the best in the class. This young man is the Billy Meyer of his day. At the pace he has learned and applied his craft he shows unlimited potential. He may be a tuner before someone puts him in a full-time ride. He has interview charm and is much liked by his competitors. He knows when to shut it down. He is a super disciplined racer. The more we see of him the better.

He can be a future star if that's what he desires.

That's his day job now? Graduated from Arizona State with a business degree. I remember the .TV announcers saying he flew to events on Friday and back on Sunday to make it back in time for school.
