Has anyone heard any news during the NHRA finals on who besides Randy Meyer might be considering running a Nitro Funny Car in TAFC next year?

There was one ready and on display in Seattle during the Northwest Nationals. I believe the Parkers are involved in it.

T/AD is now mostly injected nitro, but there are a few blown alky cars and they are strong. I don't see them going away anytime soon. I kinda think blown alky will dominate TA/FC, unless the injected nitro combination proves better. But you do have to wonder, which combination would be easier to transition to blown nitro? I have heard A/FD drivers say it's easier to run blown nitro because of the way you drive the car, plus you're already used to nitro. Also heard Ron Capps say that driving a blown alky F/C is harder than driving a nitro F/C, because you have to shift. I dunno, it will be interesting to see what happens to the new F/C combination.
