I don't know. This looks like a regular cost-cutting business decision to me. Painful for people involved, but based on my experiences from the last 20 years, I know how it goes.

I thought DSR was being paid by Abu Dhabi/Yas Marina to staff and run the team. Abu Dhabi has done some wildly excessive things the past few years and is paying for it. If there is cost cutting, I'd assume it is coming from over there. Very interesting.

I was hoping that sponsorship was starting to see some stability, but looks like we're still on a long recovery role in that aspect.

I guess that whole MIddle East Drag series didn't pan out like everyone thought it would!

Sadly the worse is to come, and no I'm not talking about drag racing lay offs. However more of that will probably happen too.

TJ just keeps having to deal with bad news. I hope he can get through this downturn. He deserves a break soon.

I'M quite sure Tommys crew was let go a few weeks ago so this is no suprise to me. Hopefully this is the end of the cutbacks and not the beginning.
