I am with you. I like him a lot and would love to see him back at the races. I also would like to see him on the board of PRO though, and not sure if he can/could do both. Anyone think that he might be one of the short list of drivers Connie Kalitta is considering, or if Whit would rather do it on his own?

Lori, I don't have any official inside info at all, but I really don't think Whit and the Kalitta organization would be a good fit. Heck, if Capps can land a punch like that on Whit, I don't think he would stand much of a chance against Connie or the O Bros!

on the sunday TV show???
if could guess 20 different 'new' things i think i mite see on a sunday
race coverage, a phone call from whit would not be one of them.

You have your opinion about Whit but none of those drivers bring 20 NHRA event wins and handfuls of top ten finishes....as a driver and as a team owner.
Like him or not he has a unique personality, that is unpredictable and filled w/ moxie, and was hosting a group of 'angel investors' when I ran into him @ the Grove.
