Very well said from someone that was there. Sadly this will only fire up the experts with blinders on. Cruz lost, Force took a dive, Tony got up on the tire, Hight is in. Life and business goes on.
Nice article and very good insight from Whit. The one thing I would disagree with though is Whit saying that Gary could have "easily" outrun him that day. That was a one lane race track that day, that was the whole point of giving Whit the good lane. could it have happened? Yes, but not easily. I think Dixon did make a miracle run in the bad lane to win TF, if I remember correctly.
Personally not a big WHIT fan, but I think that what he said was well put. Bottom line, it happened, can't change it so let's move on. Not like there won't be controversy in the next 10 weeks folks. Let's get to Charlotte!!
ONE of the things I have always admired about Whit is that he walks his own way.
If he were in politics and I was able, he would get my vote everytime.
Hey you said it. If your going to call one a whiner you have to call them all whiners. PEDS FORCE OR BAZEMORE. In all fairness they have all whined at some point.

Kinda makes that good ole fan loving Tony P look a little hypocritical, don't it?
So part of the skill set of any multiple car team these days is to throw an occasional race away in a convincing manner beyond dispute? Another skill that is helpful is anger management! It could be that a lost temper at the wrong time could determine the outcome of a championship! How about that?
It's nice hearing from Bazemore. The respect he has for Force's driving is a generous thing for him to express. Thanks for the link.
