What happened??

At the start of the broadcast I missed the very beginning and it looked like someone was hurt. Anybody know what happened??

Joe DeSantis took a spill off of his bike, according to the Saturday notes from NHRA.COM.

Don't know anything more than that.

Sure hope he's OK.

Joe Desantis was in the right lane and as he approached the finish line the bike went out from under him. It was reported he "only" sustained a broken wrist. He tumbled for quite a way and the bike slid at least a couple hundred feet farther. It was scary!

Randy, he came off the bike on the top end, 180mph rolled 12 times. When they get a report from hospital they'll up-date.

I was standing in the staging lanes and he was taking air out of the rear tire. It seemed like too much and I hoped he didn't get loose on the top end, then it happened. Glad he's ok. It was too quiet in the lanes for comfort.
