Why would she? She's seeking marketing partners, people are not going to sponsor a team to run IHRA where crickets will see them. She's running this weekend because the new team needs to test more and it's a short haul from Indy.

The Tire Wipers / Scrubbers, who have to do it for the Funny Cars are the true studs of the craft, as 3/4 of the tire is underneath the body. I always wondered why don't they get these guys some kinda mop with an exfoliating sponge on the end so they dont have to be hunched over a moving car. I just hit me, when does the 'Curling' season end?. The Curling wipers are experts and could adapt pretty easily

If you look at marketing partners, many are their own companies, many are B2B which is just more rich guys scratching each others backs. There are not many true sponsors left. And lets look at ROI IF you go four rounds AND are in nitro you might get 5 minutes of coverage. PS what's that ? LOL.

Camera work a lot better in IHRA, they all get more exposure. Very excited for all the teams. Too much hay work kept me from going but will be at NC race.

Indy had over 1m people watching final eliminations, that's worth something. I agree 100% about the coverage of PS and PSM. If Tony Stewart is running PS next year, I would expect to see an increase in coverage.

B2B is much more than that. In the modern era of how companies attract new business, B2B is a powerful tool. And as far as "coverage" goes, it's much more than how much time the car is on the track.

I'm not sure if this has been clarified, but I only saw the interview with Jasmine saying teams wanted her to scrub tires for them, and she replied "we're here to go rounds", not scrub tires. I didn't hear if anybody called her team "tire wipers", which is different. Many top tier fuel teams use part time teams or Top Alky teams to scrub (break in) new tires. We've done it with my A/FC.
