BSU is definitely getting a shot at the legitimacy that they are desparate to attain and yes, it is the classic David vs. Goliath in many ways. I think if we play anywhere near our potential BSU doesn't really stand much of a chance to win but I believe that they will represent themselves well. They are a very good TEAM in every sense of the word and OU definitely can't (and won't) take them lightly. I can hardly wait to go to this game as not only does it afford my brother and I another opportunity to go to another OU Bowl game together but it will complete my personal BCS Bowl attendance superfecta!

Just thought I'd toss this out-- the Husker Volleyball team is in the NCAA final four by winning a really tough game against Minnesota who led 2-0 to start the match. NU will be playing UCLA Thursday night at 6 pm and Stanford will be playing the Washington Huskies at 8:30. All times are Central. If you haven't had the opportunity to watch some really GOOD college volleyball, you might give it a try this Thursday or Saturday for the NCAA finals. Heck, I never watched bull riding until Steve B got me to try it and I really liked it! Let me know if any of you maters on the College Football thread are VB fans also. Tim said he followed VB some--anyone else? Go Huskers!

Hey Terry, The Horns volleyball team was stopped 1 round shy of making it to the "Final 4". They had a great weekend against Wisconsin before that though!

You know that the Texans have to be kicking themselves for not taking him or Reggie Bush. What a joke!! I have always liked the Titans & Jeff Fisher, not to forget former BUCKEYE Eddie George. Last year we went to the Football Hall of Fame in Canton & I went straight to the Titans memorabilia & bypassed the Texans stuff!!

Well the Texans game yesterday served them right. I like VY and personally I didnt think they should have taken him #1 in the draft just b/c of what I preceived to be several major weaknesses but Vince is a leader and a winner and its hard to beat against anybody who is both of those. I thought they should have taken Reggie myself and he's proven that to them, especially last week with his 4 td's. I dont think our team has 4 rushing td's all year. They are better than last year but they still suck. I like Kubiak though. Carr needs to go. I am not saying its all his fault b/c his line does suck, but Idont think he's the answer at all. They need a RB and a QB so for you Adrian Peterson fans out there, come next year you might be rooting for the Texans, b/c thats just might be where he ends up.

personally i think a team needs to build around defense.....i mean look here chicago....our QB is a piece of crap and we're 10-2
He is now, but he started the season on fire then showed his true colors I think.

No offence Teri but T Smith is going to be a questionable NFL prospect. He's a great college QB but he may be too small for the NFL.

Yeah, I'm with Dave on this one. And personally I think Brady Quinn will go before Troy Smith does. The Texans need a RB more than anything (which was the reason I couldnt see them passing up Bush last year) but I guess they thought Dominic Davis was going to produce when he was hurt. I cant imagine the riots down here if they passed over Peterson if he is there when they pick for another defensive player. I think Reliant would be burned down.
