1990 Ty Detmer Brigham Young QB 9th round medicore career

1991 Desmond Howard Michigan WR 1st 4th pick. A bust as a wr, but one of the all time greats as a return man with a super bowl mvp award. Not worth this high of a pick though

1992 Gino Torretta Miami (Fla) QB 7th round major bust,

1993 Charlie Ward Florida State QB Sr. choose to play in the nba, wasn't much nfl interest

1994 Rashaan Salaam Colorado RB 1st round 21st pick, good rookie year, then fell apart. had major fumble-itis

1995 Eddie George Ohio State RB 1st rd 14th. great player

1996 Danny Wuerffel Florida QB 4th rd bust

1997 Charles Woodson Michigan CB 1st round 4th pick. Solid cover man

1998 Ricky Williams Texas RB 1st rd 5th pick. When not on the wacky tabacky or wearing wedding dresses, he could play. Now playing in canada sitting out a 1 yr nfl suspension, will always be known as Mr what could have been.....

1999 Ron Dayne Wisconsin RB 1st rd 11th pick. Never gonna reach the potential some thought he had. Bust at this high of pick

2000 Chris Weinke Florida State QB 4th rd, career clip board holder

2001 Eric Crouch Nebraska QB 3rd pick drafted as a wr instead of QB, never made it anywhere.

2002 Carson Palmer USC QB 1st rd #1 looks to be a great one

2003 Jason White Oklahoma QB never played

Still to early I suppose but both these guys appear to be headed to good careers
2004 Matt Leinart USC QB 1st rd 10th

2005 Reggie Bush USC 1st rd 2

it doesn't appear that winning the heisman means you'll have a good career let alone a high draft spot.

Will Troy become the next Carson Palmer or Danny Wuerffel ?

Where is Vince Young on that 2005 list?

Troy will win a National Championship but He won't get drafted in the top 10, if he were 6'5" He might but at 5'10" no way, the only other short NFL QB with a Heisman was Doug Flutie and we all know how that worked out. Troy would make a good running back/short pass reciever out of the backfield, great for third and five (or short) where they cover with a linebacker, his vision and speed would be an asset in this area, and having been a College QB he reads defenses well, although they are not the ones he'll see in the Pro's, It's a much differant game in the NFL than College, waaaay faster, in College you might have three or four players who are really good on the field at one time. In the NFL you have 22 at all times. If He proves me wrong then great but I've been watching this game for many moons and thats how it's looking right now.

I am in trouble, even my one fellow BUCKEYE fan disagrees with me!!!
Like I said, if I am wrong I'll come back & take all of the "I told you so's"!!!:p

Tim,
If I don't have a "brain fade" at least once a day there is something wrong!!:p

Teri, I here ya there!!:p I think Troy will go quick in the draft!

How does everyone think about the draft order...the team lineup? Who' s gonna be the first team and so on. My bet is either the Raiders or the Texans once again:rolleyes:

Finally, someone besides me who thinks Troy Smith will go quick in the draft!!! I got my 2007 BUCKEYE Football calendar in the mail today!!! PJ & Dave according to it the next time the BUCKEYES will beat Michigan will be the 17th of November!!!!!:p

sadly my dear Lions will have the #1 pick, right now the Raiders are 2 and Tampa is 3.

Each of the top players are scared as hell that the lions might draft them

You're right. Just ask Chuck Long 86' 1st rnd, Andre Ware 91' 1st rnd, Joey Harrington 02' 1 st rnd, Charlie Batch 98' (2nd round). Maybe Joey can still salvage his "life after the Lions" career.

Teri just think if you can win only 17 more MICHIGAN/osu games IN A ROW then you will tie MICHIGAN for the series lead in wins. Currently MICHIGAN leads the series 57-40-6. Only 17 more wins. Don't give up Teri. Just keep the team saying "I think I can" ... "I think I can". :p :D

GO BLUE!!!

It has been interesting this year to see Joey do well in Miami (which I'm glad for) Garcia is palying well in Philly, Pinner comes back last weekend for 3tds and 100+ yards against his old team. I really hope they finally get wise a fire Millen, they guy truely has no clue

Dave I was recently told this by a somewhat smart person "Don't live in the past, live for the future"!!! So even tho' Michigan might have more series wins, who is on the winning streak now??????? Oh yes I think it would be the
OHIO STATE BUCKEYES!!!:p
Hey, how is that coffee mug doing?????????

Ya know Dave, I used to think Teri was nice, just somewhat messed up cuz of the Buckeye flu, but reminding you of the coffee mug, thats just eeeeeeviiiiilllllll :D

... And right before the weekend! But the joke is on her. I don't have to drink out of it on the weekend!

Something puzzles me PJ. Teri uses this quote: "Don't live in the past, live for the future"!!! Disregarding the overall series record. However then proceeds to talk about a winning streak. Now how do you live for the future and yet refer to a winning streak? Sort of a contradiction isn't it?? :D Or is that what they call "selective memory".

GO BLUE!!!

Dave you are so right that is a contradiction!!! Nothing I have said today has come out right so lets just start over. The BUCKEYES are gonna win the championship game!!!!!!:p Enjoy your weekend coffee!!!!!!!

Don't worry Teri I'm still 100% behind Troy and the Buckeye's and He will go Quick in the Draft but I don't see a top 10, The NFL is a few notches "kicked up" as Emeril say's, where they have guys who are "special position" players, or "third down specialists", long snappers, punters, ect. its a very complex game on that level and everyone is as good, or better, than Troy Smith, Thats why only so many college players make it in the pros and so few Heisman winners do well. I never really realized how complicated and intense NFL football was untill I got to see some of it first hand. I have a friend who is the head coach of an NFL team and It's amazing how hard they work, it's kinda like Drag Racing, there really is no "off season", only for the fans, the teams get maybe two or three weeks off a year, thats it. The rest of the time it's 12 or more hours a day preparing for the pre-season, season, each game, playoffs and hopefully the superbowl.

I am glad you are still on my side Kenny, us BUCKEYES have to stick together!!!!
Is your head coach friend having a winning season????
