Start Spreading The News......

Mike, I dont hate them b/c they supposedly cheated and filmed teams. Thats been going on for years. And most of the teams are doing it in some capacity somehow. I just dont like the Pats. They think they are the greatest team in the history of the game. They are a great team, infact better than the Giants, they just didnt show up yesterday with the intensity that the Giants did. I am glad they lost b/c I didnt want to hear about them for the next 6 months and how great they are.

The reason I cant stand them is I dont like Bill B, dont really care for Brady, Moss, or Harrison either. There arrogant. I do like Ted Br. and Jr Seau but thats about it. If they had won the only positive out of it would have been I watched the only true 19-0 unbeaten team win the SB.

actually listened to an interview with moss earlier yesterday on radio.
IF i can believe what he says; he has really come a long way since his
early years here in mn.
there's a fine line between arrogant and confident. maybe some of both
going on??

I totally agree! He's nothing like Chad Johnson or Terrell Owens. He is confident and capable but I don't see him displaying the ego of the other guys.

Justin, as I see it, we did watch the only team go 18-0 which was still far more impressive than the Fish with their gravy-train 14-0 schedule.

I agree with that too Bobby. I'm not taking anything way from the Pats. 18-0 is awesome. There the best team in football, even better than the Giants. They just got outplayed yesterday and it happens. As they say, thats why we dont play or race them on paper.

i didnt have a favorite either, in fact i cant stand either team, but was glad the giants beat the cheating, pompus pats! bottom line- the 72 dolphins are still the best and the only undefeated team ever. no mater how many games there were in a season, in football the last game means everything! pats 18-1 gotta love it! the pats had a cake schedule also, 40 % of thier games were against teams under.500.

I have never watched a Super Bowl game in my life, nor any regular game for that matter. I'm just not a football fan.

However, I had been at my cousin's house for dinner on the Sunday the giant's played Green Bay. Couldn't escape watching the game. Because the 'New Jersey' Giants were playing, I was somewhat paying att, afention... that and the sub freezing conditions in which they were all playing. (How did they do that?)

Anyway, I actually watched most of the Super Bowl yesterday and was thrilled to see the Giants, after all, they are 'our' team... (those of us in the NY Metro area)

I almost couldn't watch the last minute of play.... but was glad I did.

Now, don't go thinking I've been converted or anything. I've also been known to watch the World Series if the Yanks or Mets are in it. I keep my 'ball games' pretty close to home, interest wise.

CONGRATULATIONS GIANTS!

All teams are 0-0 at the start of the season, and only 1 has went undefeated and untied. They did everything that was asked of them, and could not have done it better.

The Gints just beat N.E., so they are a better team, at this point in the season.

I will wait to see what becomes of the assault allegations that have been leveled against Moss before passing judgment.

And. while you are correct, he has come a long way, it sounds as thought the Pats are considering cutting him loose, regardless of the allegations. Things like this tend to bring a lot of unwanted attention to pro teams, and true or not, they don't have to put up with it, and the Krafts wont.

I saw the best T-shirt on CNN this morning. If I were a Giants fan, I'd have to have it. It said, "18 straight wins and one GIANT loss".

I want one!

I'm not really a Giants fan, but I'm an Eli fan and a Strahan fan......I'd SO wear that. I'm a little bit of a Patriots hater and I can't really pinpoint why. That happens to me ALOT. I find people/teams I LOVE to HATE and have no clear explanation. ::confused:

Hard to say which was more incredible here, Eli escaping to get the pass off or the catch itself.

Geez Bob, if I didn`t know better I`d think you were a PR guy for the Pats. I know the Pats played a tough schedule outside of the pathetic AFC East, but the Dolphins, Jets and Bills all sucked this year and they were an easy 6 wins for the Pats. Yeah, Miami had an easy schedule in `72, but they won the game that mattered most and everybody forgets they were underdogs to the `Skins in SB VII. Plus, the homefield playoff advantage was on a rotating basis bck then, so Miami didn`t even get to host the AFC Championship game. Bottom line is Miami is the only team in history to go undefeated. The Pats choked!

My daddy can beat up your daddy! Well, when he was alive anyway?

Pats didn't finish the job, it's true -- but they did win more games than Miami in one season by a bunch so we're both right from our given points of view. See you in Pomona.

Mine is on order!

As for it being tough to play in NY, it's not like it's a secret or anything. Everyone who signs with a NY franchise, regardless of sport, knows what to expect if they don't perform...

I've been a Giants fan since the mid to late 70's & I love them with all my heart no matter how well or how poorly they do - I am not and will not ever be a bandwagon fan. My heart can't take too many more like that one though.

I thought it was really cool that Ms. Sparks sang the National Anthem for her dad's former team!

Go Giants, Devils & Mets!!!
