It is not playing where I live (Ohio). My son and I really want to see the movie. We remember those golden days of drag racing!

I saw it today at the Edwards in Long Beach Ca and it was a great movie.

I am really bummed that the 1 Dallas area theater that was on the list last week is no longer on the list. I am hoping that I can see it in Vegas now but I'm not holding my breath.

It would be nice to have it in Ohio. But this area is so stuck on stick and ball activities It probably will never make it.

As far as I can see, not coming to the upper midwest. :(

Shoot.

Really wanted to see and hear it in the theater.

I've got a big screen but no surround sound. When's the DVD expected out?

Opens in St. Louis Sept 27th. Also the weekend of the AAA Midwest Nationals.

Friday night Qualifying and Friday night opening.

Not a smart move

Guess I will see it Monday the 30th

tb

For those that have gone out to see it, what was the audience size during your show? 10, 50, 100 people?
There were maybe 50 at the showing I seen in Long Beach around noon on a week day. You could tell by their hats and shirts that most of them were drag racing fans.

When I saw it on Premeire night in Indy they told me they sold out 3 theaters for both the 5:30 and 7:30 showings! I was at the 10PM showing which was maybe half full!

I went to the 2pm Saturday matinee showing in Bakersfield. There were maybe 10 of us in there.

Tickets were $7 bux. It was 104 degrees that afternoon and the theater was nice and cool. The nitro show was at the track later that day. I thought for sure there would be ton of race fans there and then everyone would go to the track afterwards.

Any movie needs to advertise, I can just see a Mom seeing Snake vs Mongoose on a Theater website and thinking " Is that a Cartoon!"
