As a kid who grew up in that era, and being around the track a lot, I cannot wait for this movie to come out!

Even if the movie is not factually correct in some aspects, it will be nothing but good for the NHRA. They didn't have a very big budget to work with and had a very tight shooting schedule, so I am sure they took some liberties. I will still be first in line to see it whenever it comes out though.

Looks like they are getting the 'Hot Wheels' part down. Wildlife Racing at that time made sense.

How will this movie help the NHRA? This is a history lesson.

That's like saying the movie "Rudy" was good for college football.

This movie will cater to existing fans of the sport, not encourage new ones. Not that there's anything wrong with that...
