Reading Attendance

I can't speak for today as I was driving back home, but Friday and Saturday at the Grove was packed like I haven't seen it in years. I am sure the the perfect weather had something to do with it, but it is nice to see a track with packed stands and people standing 5 deep against the wall.

It was noticable on TV. This was one of the only events where it didn't look like there were huge gaps in the stands. Does that place hold as many as a typical track or are the stands a bit smaller?

I have to agree with Rich, the weather is a huge factor. I just hope they continue to have this race in October.

The place was full all weekend.....of the 11 national events I went to this, weekend this was no doubt the best attendance I have seen

Etown was pretty packed all weekend too... Goes to show you why they want epping on the national schedule.. The east comes out for races.

Saturday's crowd was amazing. The fence was 7-8 deep, which works fine at Maple Grove with the sloped pavement

Anyone heading to Reading in 2 weeks for the Dutch Classic? I think I may go if the weather is decent, a friend of mine is running in the Hemi shootout. Looks to be a pretty neat sportsman deal.

I'll be there. My dads running top sportsman and I might run super comp. Its always a nice race

This one guy I know who manages that Nitromall for about 15 races told me that Reading is a Top 5 track attendance wise when the weather is there!

Its usually the #1 attended super chevy show in terms of car count and spectators. If memory serves me right its their 2nd highest grossing event all year behind the nationals.
