Pomona Entries

the entry list are known for not being the most up to date/accurate. Wait to see who rolls through the gates
 
would be good to have more than 16 in each field to make qualifying that bit more interesting .. when the 2 lucas cars are added that will make 16 and there is still a possibility lex joon may be racing. and maybe urs erbacher. what about clay millican is he not racing this year ?

Christopher, I was told at the FInals last year most if not all of those European teams were leaving their rigs here in the states over the holidays. So I hope it least a couple of them participate!;)
 
It is my understanding that the Winternationals entry sheet always looks bare because a lot of the drivers are still finalizing their Competition License stuff. Not a problem, just has to do with expiration/renewal dates along with physicals and then NHRA doing the paperwork. "Officially", if their License is being renewed, they are not "Officially Licensed" so the entry can't really be prosessed until the new License is issued. Kinda dumb, but I get it. Happens every year.

Hi Joe, I think there will be around 20 funnycars. Are you making the trip out here. I will fly back east next Thursday and pick up the transporter. I always stop at the route 66 casino and watch the super bowl.

well 3 european teams have their rigs over in the states ( the Andersen brothers car which Thomas drives, Lex and Urs.) we know Thomas is taking part. so that is 1. lex is trying his best and urs i have heard nothing about yet. Stig Neergaard
who took part in vegas2 and pom2 was in a hired ride, have not heard anything about him taking part.and andy carter is driving haddocks car at the winternats.

so we have 2 euro drivers to start 2010 so far, with only 1 being from the 4 who took part at the end of 09
 
I would think the 50th celebration and race car displays would make it worth the price of admission.
 
Mike, I totally agree with that. Wish I could be there...I was at the 50th Indy a few years ago, and the mix of nostalgia with all the big show racing was awesome.

It's not the entries that they should worried about! It's not what rolls through the gate as much as who walks through if you know what I mean! ;)
