I didn't go and I'm glad I didn't between my kidney stones and the bad weather down there but yeah you are right a few new look cars but not many. No Larry Dixon either. It's musical chairs again with a couple more cars pulled out of the mix. It's now a few super teams and a few independents, and a very predicable outcome. The super teams beat on the little teams and then the super teams make it to the finals and race each other.
The forecast was not for the faint of heart for sure. But against our better judgment we headed up Friday anyway and were rewarded with no rain until about 4:30. Saturday was out due to a prior commitment, but Sunday was a perfect day for racing.With the amount of rain So-Cal has had this winter and the forecast for this past weekend I can understand why some fans decided not to show up.
