I haven't been to a national event in ~12 years not because of the cost, but because I couldn't help but feel that I was trapped in constant barrage of commercials over the PA system. Then again, as I get older I'm becoming more and more a recluse. Spent Saturday working on projects at the shop and Sunday doing yard work and well lunch break was spent at The Habit (no offense to In-N-Out).

I still go to the Nat'l event but only on Friday. Less people & time to wander around. I did go to the Div 7 race both Fri & Sat and that was a great race. Watched the Sun finals on computer. Also went to the Bugorama this past Sun. supposed to be the last one at Wild Horse. Was amazed at how many people came out for the event. I did buy a chopped top VW Bug and yeah, it;'s about 6" long. heh
