I'm glad that it was 3 Force cars in the finals, and ashley beat tony. He deserves it. I hope Tony finishes 10th in the points, and 1-4 is all Force cars. That'll show him...I'm glad John is back to his old self and not taking any more BS...John didn't lay a hand on anybody first...the officials grabbed him and he got free...Tony and Cruz don't have any class, never have, never will...And just maybe Dickie Venables saw the writing on the wall to get out...

Of course it didn't look like Force cranked the wheel to the right at the hit. Not to mention the lame light that he cut. It was bull****, and anyone who has a clue beyond what they see from the stands or on TV will get it. Then you have Dim Light saying that nothing seemed out of the ordinary with the computer read out and tune up. Chit, just drive the car out of the groove and it will blow the tires off. It was pathetic, and there are far too many in the trenches out there that know it. NHRA has one basket, and all the eggs in it came from JFR. It is sad, but it is sooooo true.

No Kleenex here... but my car is due for an oil change. On the way home from work, I'll be stopping by Advance Auto and buying 6 quarts of Quaker State. Been shopping there since Cruz and Tony got that sponsorship. Will be going there until they day they stop sponsoring Cruz and Tony. AAP and Quaker State need to know this works both ways. It's just good stuff....I'm not a big fan of either (big Force fan back in the day before he dominated...pull for Wilkerson now). I think it's nice to see some emotion from Force again. As far as the comments go, the Pedrigons had a chance to get in on their own, they didn't...thats the way it goes. Take your lumps and go home. Wilk lost last year to them do to the points system, he did'nt get on TV and cry like a baby....the "rules" were ok when it it benefited them (Pedrigons), now it's cheating and manipulating the system. It will blow over, made for good tv...move on.

I blame the NHRA for allowing it, grow some balls and DQ both Hight and Force and I will bet that will put an end to this nonsense. Race heads up, NHRA has a rule against what we saw today and it is time to enforce it. In the heat of the battle in Brainerd, the Pedregon brothers raced heads up like that sport was designed.

I'm probably wrong, but I simply see this as a desperate man who is probably on his last leg as a team owner, doing whatever he can to get some extra exposure. The budget issues have already surfaced, and even though his team has been doing well with Dickie's old tune up, he needed all the extra TV time he could get. He knows how to play the game and he knows lobbing bombs over at Force will get him the extra TV time he needs.

This is crazy, people wanting Force to be fined and suspended for getting into a shoving contest with officials and a shouting match with Tony. It sorta reminded me of the good ol' days, but alas, those days are long gone. Actually, now that I think about it, did Force get fined when he got into it with Lee Beard? Not trying to be a smart a@*, I just don't remember. Honestly, I don't know why everyone is so pissed, it's not the first time a JFR car has taken a dive. I knew when the pairings were shown what was going to happen. Cruz had his shot at controlling his own destiny, it didn't work out. Not to mention he's had nearly 6 and a half months to earn enough points to make the chase, looks like zero off season testing finally came back to bite him. Don't get me wrong, I don't like or support what happened on track, but like it or not, racing has become business. In this case, John protected his interests, and from a business standpoint, it was the right thing to do. From a competitve one, it was transparent what went down.

Striking = hit sharply.

We'll see just how bad this is seen by the NHRA if that footage gets used on pre-race shows like the Lee Beard deal or the Herbert/Millican's-crew deal was run one thousand times on-air for entertainment purposes.

They'll probably fine them both big-time as if this is unacceptable behavior, then play the clip all next season at every race.

It's going to be interesting to see that washed-up has-been kissing up to JF on the next telecast, that much is certain... I'm sure he'll be called for a "sitdown" with management for his commentary and have "an epiphany" about what went down...

Pretty telling when you can't even work on your family's race team or get a job driving with anyone else for what... 8 years now?


Far as the JFR/Ped Bros situation goes... team orders are a fact of life, in all forms of competition. JF has an obligation to his sponsors to get ALL of his teams into championship contention. As does DSR or any other multicar team.

Tony P. was the beneficiary of this in his last year at JFR, and he didn't have any problem with it then... to complain now is hypocritical at best.

Both guys probably will get fined. They had several videos that have hit youtube already. Some of them have been removed. I watch one of them that has been removed, and 28 seconds into it, Tony gave John a little push on the shoulder and that's why John threw his hat on the ground and got in Tony's face. I hope Tony's sponsor drops to where he can't make the last 6 races. I hope John Force wins it. So for anybody that's want to talk about shoving...I saw it in video that Tony gave John a little light push, BUT it is STILL hands on action.
