Whew!!! Missed that tuneup a bit or what??? ;)

What was the cause for that big a boomer? Broken cam or something on the timing side? That one absolutly contributed to Global Warming....!!!

I don't think it's fair to say he missed the tune-up. It looked to me like it was clean and dry and ahead of Dixon when it nosed over and went boom. Obvious mechanical failure like that can't be blamed on Dupuy.

I don't think his "missed the tune up" comment is meant to be a serious one. I see a little winkey smiley right after it.

That was one of the bigger explosions I've seen on a TF in awhile, Urs did a great job keeping it out of more trouble. I still think he and lemmy from motorhead are long lost twins.

ROTFLMAO! I am SO glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read that! :p Urs looks better than Lemmy, but I can understand the resemblance. LOL

Yes, that was an amazing driving job Urs did to keep it off the wall and in his lane and control it so well!

Not to pick of the smaller drivers of those cars, but I don't think a 120 lb driver could have kept it under control that well. I bet it took a bunch of muscle to get that thing to behave!

Billy Meyer summed it up best when asked about an explosion he had back in 87.

"Ignition in the wrong place at the wrong time....."

I don't understand what a drivers weight has to do with steering.
Ashley F. -Angelle - Beckman - Capps - Erica - Clay - JR Todd - Antron - to name just a few, all small stature folks that do pretty well, imo.

Actually it was some left over Scotch tape residue that blocked the Smiley that was on my screen after demonstrating to Mike English the proper way to cut and paste pictures.

Careful with the x-acto knife, it leaves scratches on the monitor!!

On topic: That was a big boomer, almost launched the whole block onto the track, you cant tune around unseen mechanical failure, good job by Urs to keep the car in the facility.

I may get kicked off this site, and I don`t mean to besmirsh your fine reputation. L.o.l. But mr. ANADOG you sure seem to be a negative sort of fellow. Your very quick with the slights. If not with this post, but with others. Have you ever been called on it. Well, consider it done. Is all the spelling correct. BYE.

Sitting where I always sit, that looked every bit like Tony Pedregons from Last year! Strange......I don't hear any racers begging for 660' yet???
