only 1 option 99.95. How about pay per race, maybe some of us dont have time to watch them all and spend 99.95? Some of the seaon is already over, can it be pro rated? How about a promotion to watch one race at a discounted amount to see if it to out liking beforing spending 99.95? Easy way,pay per race. Id def do that.

I posted this in another thread, but just doing the math it seems to me like a pretty good deal. Right now there are 20 races left in the year, so $99 is $5 per race weekend.

If they were to do a pay per race I'm thinking it wouldn't be $5 per weekend, Just like anything else, if you buy a lot you pay less per unit than if you buy one or two. Season tickets for football cost less than buying each game separately right? So let's just say it's $20 per race buying them individually, after you watch 5 you would have paid for the year. Or if it's $5 per day, then you are still paying three times what a year would cost.

Here's a perfect example, when I picked up my car in Las Vegas last week they asked if I would like to activate the XM Radio. I said "How much?" Answer $5 a day, I have the car 12 days so $60. That seems like a fair price, but when you consider that my annual subscription for XM in my car is $199 per year it doesn't sound so good. 40 days pays for the year. Even though my car sits idle more than I drive it, it still is a good deal (to me) to pay for the year, and whenever I want it I just have to push the button.

P.S. This as always is strictly my opinion, I'm not speaking for NHRA and I know of no plans for them to offer All Access on a per race basis. For all I know they may be talking about it.

I agree, it's a good deal. From a marketing standpoint I could see where a "free weekend" or "one race package" early on might increase their subscriptions (sceptical person holding out would probably pull the trigger once he gets to see the product). I purchased it, I like it, trying to figure out why the Sunday Vegas is still not up in the archive (my biggest complaint would be the archive should be updated same day or at least next morning) and why some of the archived coverage is incomplete. I watched T/D live Saturday night Vegas but missed a couple, tried to go back when it archived and all the late Satuday coverage is missing (I paid for all the race coverage so it should be there). Assuming these are bugs they are working out.

I agree that $99 for 20 races is a good deal. I don't have many weekends where I can sit around and take advantage of it though. Add in the inability to pause, fast forward and rewind and it limits the viewing. For me, I'd be able to watch 2-3 races a year which puts that per race value much higher.

I'd like a per race $9.99 fee, if I had a down weekend I could opt in for in.

Same here, some might not get to watch every weekend and then save money if paying per race.

The service is terrible. Ive had multiple emails with the NHRA about how bad it is. Technical issues out the waazooo. Vegas Sunday took a week to get up. The video quality was garbage. Supposedly they upgraded the video quality. I tried watching some on my tablet and it keeps cutting out. There is a time delay in the audio/video. The interface on the website is cumbersome. The website that runs it for the NHRA suggests to log in with your FB account. They actually want you to tell them your FB user and pw and then go as far as to say 'dont worry we will never use it'. Its mind boggling.

I hope the NHRA didnt sign a long term deal with website. Its just terrible.

Im in Canada and dont have access to FS1, so this is now my only way to try to watch, but its impossible. Everybody talks about the FS1 and how some of it is awesome and some of it needs work, I cant even see for myself.

They have been really slow and getting the videos archived but I'm sure it will get better over time. For me it is well worth the money. For the most part I will only be able to watch Sunday live but for it's still worth the money. i enjoy watching alky, TS, TD, comp and pro mod along with the pros and this was not possible until now.

I haven't had an issue with a time delay on sound or a poor picture quality. I have some security cameras I will disconnect when watching to improve the picture. It works every time.

I bought it prior to Gainesville knowing I would end up buying it anyway. Why wait four or five races in before taking the plunge.

$100 for the XM? I'll look into that when it runs out! LoL

I understand what you guys are saying about not sitting around all weekend and watching it. But you don't have to do that to use it. A buddy of mine is a big fan of the Alcohol Cars and he will bring it up on his phone when they are running, then go back to whatever he was doing. He said during the Vegas event they were going somewhere and he made his wife drive, so he could watch the race!

As for any technical glitches, anyone who knows me knows I'm not the guy who can help with that, but the people I have talked to haven't had any issues.

For $99/year, it's not hard to get your money's worth. In the course of a race weekend, how long would you have to tune in to feel like you got $5 worth of enjoyment? IMO people overthink things, in today's world, 1 Benjamin doesn't go far, this seems like a no brainer for a race fan.

I`ve watched two events and rate the experience at about 8.5 out of 10 . Video quality is very good. No audio issues. No complaints on my home PC or my smartphone using Puffin web browser (best flash support). The track announcers offer up great input, history and "knowledge" about any one competitor getting ready to make a pass. No "dumbing down" like other unmentioned coverage.
You dont need to "divulge" your FB info, I used an email address to sign up and to log in.
The only thing I even remotely agree with is the archives should be available much sooner, next day isnt asking much I wouldnt think. ESPN did it.

Id like to try it for ONE race to see if I like it,If I do then maybe id say up for the year,id rather try a test drive first.
