I was standing along the fence at around 330' and the cars coming by were only going maybe 15 MPH! So what happened further down track I couldn't tell ya! But the cars were widely spaced apart.

I was sitting at my hotel waiting to go to the airport to catch the redeye home and watching the news. Sad thing about it was this was the first thing said about the Winternationals. Apparently someone who worked for the TV station was there and took photos. There was a short piece about the race very late in the sports show after the news and weather. As usual, the bad stuff first.
