Good one Don. Go ahead torture us,

One question 4 real, When And where will the announcement be made??
I will not ruin your fun. let the speculation continue
Tim Wilkerson has been secretly negotiating a deal to move over to the "dark side" along with his son to drive DSR funny cars. In exchange, he will bring his own style to the dragster...............
Are we having fun yet???????
It was a fuel control valveThe terrible towel was a mis-direct on kenny's tempo, about '84... believe there was a single timer under it... the real stuff was happening elsewhere on the car.

This pic is hot off the wire--Looks like a Dunn deal to me!My memory must be bad but I thought Lee Beard already did time on the "dark side"
What no one is talking about:

I stand behind my original guess of Jason McCulloch, but that definitely doesn't have a "WOW!!!" factor.
With that factor added, I'd go with Beard, except for the fact that his son is now in the DPM Driver Development Program (and Shoe ain't got one of those). Since LB was with DSR earlier and was lured away by DPM, would Shoe hire him back in spite of "loyalty" issues?
As far as the "locked up hauler and dragster": I have always heard that the blowers, manifolds, and heads go back to California with AJ at the end of every race and that they are NOT the same parts as AJPE sells to the humans....
Sorry, but this raises more questions than answers.
Warren Johnson
Even though he's never tuned a TF car I bet he'd have it figured out in short time and be surprising everyone with his skills. I've heard and read that he knows more about nitro engines than many nitro "experts". Even though the possibility of it happening is zero I'd sure love to see him try.Warren Johnson

I'm not sure what this WOW thing means. Could it be "Why didn't I think of that guy?"
Could that guy be Johnny West? He's already at DSR, has completely turned around the MTS/Valvoline program, and has a ton of TF experience. It wouldn't leave Jack in the lurch, because Tommy would still be there. Does anyone see a downside to this?
So . . . Shoe or Reinhart, if I'm right, please send me a PM. I PROMISE I'll keep it a secret from all of the other Maters! -![]()
