So you’re saying there’s a chance?!! I read ya.Knowing Tony, Boggs and Sean I would say there is a .001 percent chance anyone else would be asked to drive the car.

Ya know... I was gonna reply the real story here but this is too good to stop... carry on fellas.I'm sworn to secrecy now, but it appears my .001% may have saved my butt. This, after I got a call from some "guy." He knows who he is. LOL

I would like to add to this. I have been in drag racing most of my life either starting of driving race cars. If I Had all of the money in the world to go drag racing, in ANY class there would only be one driver I would have drive for me and that is Sean Bellemeur. PERIODSorry my GOOD friend. I believe he is going to drive for the same team he filled in for at Pomona. They were putting together an infected car to go along with their blown entry.I read a few days ago that Brett Williamson is going to be debuting a new A/FC later this summer. Glad to see more interest in the A/FC class.

NJV Racing? Those initials look familiar...Mick Steele made his 2023 debut last week in Columbus. He ran as quick as 5.966 in a first round loss. Also Tommy Johnson Jr. was in Indy shaking down an A Fuel FC several weeks ago.
Mick Steele is starting to get a handle on it. Maple Grove Q1 just ran 3.72 / 209.8 to the 1/8 mile before he shut it off. That's moving along pretty good with limited runs on the combo.
Incremental indicate we'll in to the 5.50's.Well they stepped on it Q2 3.672 @ 211.20! I am impressed. Shut off early again and coasted through 5.76 only 207.
Great job guys.
