Announcement is coming tomorrow, Thursday, at 1:30 PM EST. The PR says Force, Hight & Compton will be there.

John's fans will be delighted.

PS: Interesting to note, is the announcement is coming via NHRA teleconference. This doesn't happen very often teamwise.

The funding was there a month ago. John has been listening to a high dollar LA lawyer & that & only THAT is why this has taken so long.

Define the funding is there? Sounds like only part of the funding is there via sponsorship. Still some big gaps that John will be filling out of his bank account.

Maybe you should read the interview that Compton did with DRO:

DRO: I'm sure you're following really closely John Force Racing's struggle to find full funding for the 2015 season. How does that affect what you do on the corporate level? I'm sure you work together with him to some degree. How does it hurt you when you see John Force, a 16-time champion and the face of the sport, struggling to get his own personal sponsorship?

TC: Just so you know, we work with any and all teams that reach out and ask for help. We've offered up our assistance to just about everyone out there. And that could mean me or someone else here getting on a plane and flying to a corporate office and making a presentation. It could mean us putting together a PowerPoint presentation that's very compelling, using our Scarborough Market Research that we pay for . . . that the teams probably couldn’t do on their own......

Maybe he and the NHRA helped bring this together......maybe Force wanted him to be part of the announcement? It sounds like you just enjoying the bashing part, oh well
