Have seen several Facebook post asking for prayers for Luigi Novelli, but have not heard what has happened. Anubody know what is the situation, I do hope he is ok

all they said on TV was he had a medical emergency after his run and was taken to the hospital

This is the link to his team's Facebook. Short version is he is released from the hospital and doing well. His heart stopped after his Q2 run and was attributed to dehydration.

Absolutely - Just had about the same thing happen. The Dr. lectured me on hydrating with WATER - Sodas or Beer do not hydrate you and when the track - staging lanes or pit surface is maybe 40 degrees hotter than the ambient temprature you get dehydrated in a hurry. Firesuits don't help either. Wet cloth on your neck and wrists help to keep your core temperature down if you are sitting in the car for any length of time.
