I noticed the same style KH intiials as the Al Anabi team cars had. Has anyone heard if the sheik is helping out Del?

He also had AAP on the lower rear 1/2 panel. AAP is on the Al-Anabi Pro mods. So I would think he he is getting help from him.

How come you are so smart? Their shop is three and a half minutes from mine, I bowl with Chuck, and we eat at the same Mexican restaurant. Yet I learn things like this from a guy 2,200 miles away. I guess that's what happens when you put down the crack pipe and stop racing. :)
I bet it's Ponchos in Orange. I was there yesterday.;):)

"Pancho's", Glassell and Main St. If the light at Main and Collins is green I can be there in 3 minutes and 27 seconds from my hobby shop.

There are a lot of drag racers in that area, my shop was at Collins and Enterprise..........a long time ago

This is from the Feb 6 edition of 1320 notes on the DRO website

The Agent heard he (Del Worsham) was in Qatar seeking some sponsorship during the off season, which it looks like he received judging by the “KH” on the car

McEwen used to be there, Kenny Mooers Positive Performance Headers, AFT Clutches, Brooks Rods, and Sonny Bryant Cranks is on the other side of the freeway off State College.

Here's a video I posted on YouTube last Summer of me taking my '54 Corvette with the old Blue Flame six north on Eckoff, over the railroad tracks, then turning right on Collins toward your shop. Turned it off before I got to Main.
