I`ve seen Heart a couple times and they played some Zeppelin both times. She also did a hell of a job covering The Who`s 'Love Reign O`er Me" when I saw them last June of `06. Ann has always had a great set of pipes.

i can never remember which sister is which.
one eats at mcdonalds and one eats at subway.
Heart has certainly stood the test of time.

Ann's the heavier one (with the better voice, IMO). I was just outside of NYC a few years ago listening to Howard Stern and he had her on. He was amazed at how many younger callers had never heard of Heart. What I was amazed at was the fact that she said she was pretty much broke and living on what her husband earned. When he asked her how that could be, she replied "The suits", meaning the agents getting their cuts of everything.

We just saw Heart here in Salem last week. What a great show...they both still have it. They did a great cover of Love Rein on me!

She has a new CD out as does Joe Lynn Turner another great artist. He use to sing for Rainbow.

I saw Heart in 1977 on the 'Little Queen' tour. Their encore was Led Zep's 'rock and roll'

They were smoking hot. It's too bad the love affairs broke up the original band. Roger Fisher was a tremendous guitarist. I remember they opened the shows with the mandolins that open 'mistral wind' . It was so good.
And Ann lost a lot of weight. She looks much better these days and sounds as good as ever . They were here last year and I wish I 'd been able to go.

Hey Bob. Not that I'd post off topic or anything (LOL). That New England Dragway ticket on your avatar. Is that the one that was in East Haddam, CT? I occasionally make deliveries to that town and recently spent the night there. A couple of Hartford area locals/friends told me of an old track that used to be there, but I can't remember if that's the name or not.

no man , EPPING NH,,, where the IHRA north american nats are now. I haven't been there since 1990. That ticket is from my first drag race in august of 1970. The AHRA grand american series. I hear Don Garlits won top fuel, though I don' t remember that. I do remember the 'snowman' winning funny car though...

Howard Lease was also the guitarist for many years and he rocked. He joined Pauld Rogers who we coincidently saw a couple weeks prior. Met him too...hes a real nice guy. Nancy still needs to loose a few but don't let that stop you from listening to her. She will be on Rockline this Wednesday and hell yes, I'll be recording it!

Okay, I just googled and found out it was Connecticut Dragway in East Haddam.

the 327 acre site was formerly home to the Connecticut Dragway until being purchased by Consumer Reports in 1986. Today, the facility is state of the art and includes everything the magazine needs to push today's vehicles to their limits.

Ann seems to have always had a weight issue. I remember an interview many years ago..she had major life issues going on..and her weight gain wasn't always related to just eating too much. That band rocked!! And I hope they keep it up..get their dues..and get some kind of happy. In their prime..Ann & Nancy were both foxes..IMO.

I wish them success on keeping it going..
